[Enewsworld]Jang Keun Suk Talks About Competing with Park Shin Hye

Jang Keun Suk talked about his former co-star Park Shin Hye.

The actor met with reporters on January 20, in Gangnam-gu, and talked about his celebrity connections.

When asked who he’s close to, he answered, “Kim Jae Joong, Ji Sung, Kim Hee Chul, Yong Jun Hyung, Lee Hong ki and Mithra Jin. For girls, I’m close to Yoona and Park Shin Hye, since we did projects together.”

“I talked to Park Shin Hye on the phone just yesterday,” he continued. “I will be meeting her tomorrow for a Chinese commercial. I did about three advertisements with her already. I always recommend Park Shin Hye as my partner. We get along well and I really wish the best for her as a hubae.”


The two became close through drama You’re Beautiful in 2009. But they had to compete recently when Jang Keun Suk starred in Pretty Boy, while Park Shin Hye starred in The Heirs, which aired at the same time.

About the competition, Jang Keun Suk said, “Park Shin Hye said to me, ‘Why does your drama have to air at the same time as mine.’ She said that because she had no choice but to compete with me.”

Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA confessed she wasn’t nervous for a kiss scene with Jang Keun Suk.

The pair played lovers in the KBS2 drama ‘Love Rain‘. She recalled the kiss scene she had in front of the fountain with the actor, stating, “I was really embarrassed. But even though I was embarrassed, I wasn’t that nervous. Jang Keun Suk and I are pretty comfortable together.”

Jang Keun Suk and Yoona's 'Love Rain' drama show will not be banned from broadcasting

It has been announced that the drama show received a file of complaint regarding the copyrights of the drama show. 

Some Company has filed a complaint on the drama show having some similar details from the movie 'Classic' in the past. 


Because of the similar triangle relationship, and the theme, they said that they dont have the copyrights to do this show, but thankfully the program show is not going to be banned since there are a lot of similar drama shows in Korea, this complaint is not going to happen, said the court. 


The drama show has been released in 12 different countries and it is gaining a lot of attention all over Asia. 


It seems like this is going to be another hit maker in Asia.

Jang Keun Suk and Yoona's 'Love Rain' in Taiwan

The drama show 'Love Rain' started their broadcasting in Taiwan last July 9 on GTV.

The Drama show is also gaining a lot of attention from Japan as well. 


It has also been gaining a lot of attention since they added some scenes that were never seen on the show before. 


On the other hand, the show will be shown every 10pm in Taiwan through GTV.

SNSD Yoona Melts the Heart of Men with One Word on ‘Love Rain

Yoona’s actions have stirred the hearts of men on KBS’ Love Rain.

With one episode before its finale, Love Rain episode 19, which aired on May 28 showed Seo Jun (Jang Keun Suk) and Jung Hana (Yoona) trying to enjoy a normal date together. 

Seo Jun bickered about how Hana always calls him by his name and not by any pet names like honey or oppa (title for older brother, boy) to which Hana replies that she′s never called anyone by those names. 

However, the couple is then interrupted multiple times by Seo Jun’s mother, who is completely against their relationship. After a phone call with his mother goes sour, Seo Jun is visibly in a bad mood.


In order to better the mood, Jung Hana affectionately calls Seo Jun, “oppa,” and promises to try her best to call him by that nickname, making Seo Jun feel a lot better. 


After the broadcast, viewers, who watched the display of affection, commented, “I wish Yoona would call me oppa everyday,” “I think she’s going to come out in my dream,” and “I bet Yoona does that in real life to her boyfriend too.” 


Love Rain is to end on May 29 and the complicated relationship between Seo Jun and Jung Hana will be resolved.

On May 28, KBS’ Love Rain ended with a preview for the last episode to air on May 29. In the preview, Jang Keun Suk and Yoona were shown participating in a very passionate kiss scene, exciting many of the drama’s fans. 

Following after their three-step fountain kiss in episode nine that also garnered a lot of attention, viewers are anticipating another popular kiss between the beloved drama couple with the last episode.
