7/13/2012 Jang Keun Suk Twitter Update

Eels abroad, do you know this? About 4years ago, JKS had a mini homepage in Cyworld. And then he wrote "If I can go to Paris again, I will shout New York Herald Tribune in Champs-Elysees street with a wine in a hand and a newspaper in another hand." And people made fun of him about that.They said he was bluffing. Too many people said bad things to him and he was tormented and we Korean eels were very very sad. Acturally he was not bluffing at all. He just quoted a scene of Jean-Luc Godard's famouse movie "A bout de souffle". But people didn't know the movie, and teased him that he was bluffing about things he didn't know well. And they teased all his writing in his cyworld. They said he always saying metaphysical words. So JKS could not help closing the mini homepage. But he overcomed all of them and became Asia Prince!! Now JKS will shout to the people who had been teasing him. He was not bluffing. He was always saying the truth.

Jang Geun Suk is surprised by his own popularity in Paris

On July 9th, Jang Geun Suk made several Twitter posts about the many fans he encountered during his trip to Paris.

Along with his first and second Twitter image, the actor and singer wrote, “Wow… they recognize me again!,” and, “Kuharhar, advancement into Europe, go go kekeke.“ The fans holding signs that read ‘WELCOME IN PARIS Jang Geun Suk ♡’ appear pleased as they snap pictures with Jang Geun Suk at the airport to commemorate his arrival to Europe.

The next day, Jang Geun Suk revealed that he was flocked with even more female fans while walking down the streets. He uploaded the following pictures along with the messages: “Real girl fans appear, ta da~!!! Je vous aime les filles (‘I love you girls’ in French)!!!,” and, “Here again!! Someone recognized me!!! She shyly exclaimed ‘Thank you’ in Korean and quickly ran way… This must be the effect of cultural content.. Power of ‘Made in Korea’.”

Jang Geun Suk’s warm reception in Europe has grabbed the attention of netizens back at home as well, as they have commented, “Seems he’s not just the Asian Prince, but the World Prince,” and “Even Paris has fallen in love with Jang Geun Suk.”

In other news, Jang Geun Suk launched his ’2012 Jang Geun Suk Asia Tour; The Cri Show 2′ on July 7th in Seoul. He will be making four city stops in Japan (announced to be Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, and Fukuoka), as well as four sites in the southeast China area. At the end of this year, Jang Geun Suk will also transform into a DJ for his European club tour titled, the ‘European Clubbing Show’.

K-FEVER SPREADS IN FRANCE WITH THE HELP OF JANG KEUN SUK

Well what is more amusing is that Jang Keun Suk’s fame has spread as far as Europe and maybe even beyond. It is quite common for K Pop idol groups to be well known in the western countries because of their periodic concerts. Many idol groups like SNSD, Wonder girls and more have officially debuted in American and European countries and released albums. So it is not surprising if they are well received in the western entertainment industry and among non-asian fans.

But Jang Keun Suk is someone who has not debuted in western countries and has not carried out any world tours or shows/concerts. He is not a full time musician and has recently released one full length album and a mini album in collaboration with Big Brother Kurt. So Sukkie is not the ideal Idol boy band group member. He is more of an actor than of a musician!

So it was a major surprise on seeing him receiving a warm and exuberant welcome at the airport when he entered Paris last monday.

Sukkie embarked on an unannounced visit and just tweeted suddenly that he was on his way to Paris! Viola!! But many fans eagerly gathered at Charles de Gaulle Airport to welcome him. Airport authorities were not informed that a little fireball from Korea was arriving *sadly airport officials dont follow him in twitter teehee* and so was unprepared to assist him and so there was a slight hassle.

But Sukkie was amazed by this gathering and so were many others! Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk has reached this high level of recognition with his dramas and as an actor. I cant imagine how popular he will become once he debuts officially!

And the fawning attention by Eels did not stop at the airport. The Eels kept following him around to Hotel, Shopping Malls, Tourist spots and more to get autographs and photos which Sukkie gave willingly!

Truthfully Sukkie has made his French fans to fall in love with him more and I wonder if this swooning effect is just a stepping stone for his securing the ‘World Prince’ title soon!

Jang Geun Suk’s Favorite Accessory

Back in June, Jang Geun Suk garnered much attention when he shared a picture of himself wearing a uniquely designed metal headband on twitter and commented, “I like this headband. I’m gonna make it a thing in Asia.” He named this headband “Straight-ahead Headband” and has been continuously wearing the item.

In many pictures he shared online, fans could easily spot this gold-colored headband. He wore it in real life, studying Chinese, having a meal, and at airports. The concept of headband for men is definitely something new and men usually are hesitant to give it a try, but Jang Geun Suk makes it look fashionable and natural even on men.

It turns out, Jang Geun Suk participated in the designing process of “Straight-ahead Headband” with jewelry designer Park Min Joo, who is also actress Park Si Yeon‘s younger sister. In fact, the product is distributed by Park Min Joo’s jewelry brand MZUU. A representative from MZUU commented, “Since Jang Geun Suk announced that he is going to make the ‘Straight-ahead Headband’ a trend in Asia, it has been selling really well to the point where customers have to wait for at least three weeks to receive the product after they place their orders.”

The representative added, “Currently, we just don’t have enough of ‘Straight-ahead Headband’ to sell in both online and offline markets. Due to such a big demand, customers have to wait for quite some time to receive the headband, so we are having a discount event on the product to appease these anticipating customers. The sales of this headband increased exponentially in both domestic and international markets. We are realizing Jang Geun Suk’s star power in Asian markets.”

Jang Keun Suk on vacation is a sensation in Paris

Hallyu entertainer Jang Keun Suk can add France to his ever-growing list of countries conquered. When Jang touched down at Charles de Gaulle on July 9, despite the fact that the 24-year-old was there for pleasure; fans flocked to the airport to greet the star.

With signs that read "I Love You" and "Jang Geun-seok" in Korean, Jang's European followers treated the Korean entertainer to a fanfare.

Ahead of his visit to the City of Light, Jang had expressed his desire to tour Europe as a singer. "I don't like complacency; I want to keep striving and get out of my comfort zone. At the end of this year I'd love to perform across clubs in Europe", Jang said.

The Hallyu entertainer has a dance music album on his list of credentials: His album "Lounge H: The First Impression" comprising of 10 songs was a collaboration with his musical partner Big Brother.

The drama show 'Love Rain' started their broadcasting in Taiwan last July 9 on GTV.

The Drama show is also gaining a lot of attention from Japan as well.

Actor Jang Keun Suk is about to actualize his dream to become the world prince.

On July 10, Tree J Company, Jang’s agency, reported that Jang was warmly received by people in Paris on July 9.

Jang’s visit to Paris was not an official one. However, his fans came to the airport to see Jang after hearing the news that Jang was going to come to Paris.

The fans swarmed over to Charles de Gaulle Airport were mostly European fans.

They shouted “Jang Keun Suk” and “I love you” in clumsy Korean. Because there were too many fans, Jang had a hard time getting out of the airport.

Jang hasn’t officially debuted in Europe yet; however, he has caught European people’s interest through SNS and his official YouTube channel.

Jang started going on concert tour of Asia on July 7, starting in Seoul under the title of The CRI SHOW 2 in Seoul. He will continue the tour at Yokohama Arena on July 21 and 22.

The latest edition of Jang Keun Suk’s personal magazine has been released.

Jang Keun Suk’s CRI-J season two, edition two was released on July 10.

The new edition focuses on the ten different colors of Jang Keun Suk and includes a self-interview where he reveals his personal tastes.

CRI-J was first launched in April of 2011 and releases a new edition every four months.

From its very first edition, the magazine has enjoyed immense popularity and high sales. Though a second season of the magazine wasn’t originally planned, due to high demand and sales, a second season was given the green light.

Jang Keun Suk will next bring his ongoing concert series to Yokohama on July 21 and 22.
