Said to be the improved version of 2011 cri show, JKS’s 2012 Asia tour is personally created by JKS himself. He has performed in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan and Shanghai in 2011, and created a wave of sensation. 2012, being the cri show 2nd year, from the show concept, to the content, stage design and execution, JKS himself was involved in every single meeting, reason being he wanted to give his eels the BEST performance on stage! Set in the backdrop of ferris wheel, carousel, ghost house, magical spider web, in order to create the magical effect, JKS highly invested in the stage design, to provide the audience with an awesome and perfect visual and audio effect!
After his Shanghai show, he returned to Seoul earlier than planned as a result of Sansaeng fans intruding his privacy. He candidly left a message on Weibo saying “I love China…only dislike those who followed me 24 hours, who disobeyed traffic rules, who do not care about others’ safety but were concerned only with their own benefits – the sansaengs…I actually wanted to stay longer in China and write a Shanghai diary…I am sorry, I love all of you, thank you everyone….except the sansaengs” His speech was full of sorry and regret.
With the tremendous success from Seoul, Yokohama, Shanghai to Taipei dome, JKS said adorably in an interview “There is no other such talent as me in Asia!” revealing his confidence. Although JKS loves to interact with his eels, but he doesn’t like fans who do not obey rules, and who followed him like paparazzi 24 hours non stop.
His popularity is absolutely amazing in China! After opening his Weibo account in August last year, his fans rose to 5million in a matter of one year, compared to Tom Cruise’s 4 over million fans, JKS become the foreign artiste to have the most fans in Weibo China. This is a result of his relentless effort to maintain his Weibo, consistently post and share his recent photos with his fans, and maintain a close relationship with his eels – this is why everyone loves him.
Other than China, JKS also ranks top in popularity in Japan. In commemoration of his 20th anniversary since his debut, the Japan post office issued Jang Keun Suk official stamp collection in Japan, ,making him the first Korean star ever to be featured on Japan stamps. His group Team H’s also performed in Summer Sonic 2012 in Osaka and Tokyo. In the 40min performance, he puts on his best performance wearing a white sleeveless top, looking handsome in sweat, causing a sensational high with his fans. All his Japan cri shows are fully sold out, and he will be adding 3 more shows in Nov Saitama Arena.
On 30 Aug, Asia prince JKS arrived in Taipei with his parents and 100 over staff in a grand arrival liken that of an emperor. Hundreds of fans welcomed him at the airport!
JKS, who has been famous for his airport fashion, arrived in purple jacket, white bermudas, accompanied with a cute bow tie, making fans exclaimed “he is so handsome!” JKS showed his friendliness, putting his friendly smile, sending flying kisses and waving his hands along the way.
In each of his overseas trips, he is often harassed by sansaeng fans, hence his schedule is kept secretive in this Taipei trip, other than the media interview held in Regent hotel at 2pm tomorrow. This is the first time his whole family is here in Taipei, HS media has advised fans to provide them some privacy, so that JKS could show them around Taipei.
Although he is not the first Korean star to perform in Taipei dome, this performance is especially meaningful to him as he is the first non-singer (he debut as an actor) to perform there. As such, he asked for perfection, requested that all stage effects and equipments (4 big cartons) were all shipped from Seoul. Absolutely an Asia prince who would show his glamorous stage, stunning performance and bring the audience HIGH to the max in Taipei dome.

JKS successfully concluded his first “The Cri Show II” performance in Seoul in July, the auditorium was filled with eels from over Korea, Taiwan, China, Japan, South east Asia etc, and all whom watched the show exclaimed “it’s excellent!” “Perfect!” and each show following after in Shanghai, Yokohama, Taipei had the same sensational effect, this once again shows Asia Prince overwhelming popularity.

11 August night, in Shanghai Mercedes Benz hall filled with thousands of fans, JKS sang and performed, and also showed his sense of humor by saying “if my Weibo fans exceeds 10million, I would dance on the great wall of China, if exceeds 20 million, I will buy a house in China so that I can stay in China long term!” As a result, JKS weibo fan base increased at alarming rate after the show. Even the day before his show, the number of fans who attended his Weibo chat interview also made a new record. He was able to respond to his questions with a great sense of humor and wit, once again revealing the real quality of an Asia prince.
In Shanghai, JKS not only sang songs from MMM “Take care my bus” and song from his “gotta getcha” album, he also acted as a magician in the beginning of the show, creating a magic world and would consistently interacts with his fans during the show. In between his busy Cri show II schedule, he also attended Japan Fuji TV’s media interview for Love Rain where he acted with Yoona. Almost 90 over TV/media companies were there to interview, this once again proven JKS’s popularity in Japan, and this is also a moment where the 2 (JKS & Yoona) get to meet again after the filming ended, both responded with great humor and brought the whole atmosphere to a high.
