The “Prince of Asia,” Jang Keun Suk, looks absolutely adorable in his latest photo shoot for The Star’s August issue. JKS managed to dig deep and channel his inner 13-year-old self in order to pull off this whimsical and playful shoot. With a concept not far off from "child" and "teen," JKS was photographed doing all sorts of child-like activities.

He attempted and succeeded at blowing bubbles, he sat on a rocking horse much too small for his body, he rolled around on a skateboard, and my personal favorite: he posed like a cute cat between two apples! #JangKeunSukAWW

ZO Sun-hi, the acclaimed female photographer who is recognized for her brilliant and creative photographs!

Jennifer Clyde, the new host of The INNERview, met with photographer ZO Sun-hi as her first guest to learn how she became one of the top photographers, whom every top celebrity wants to work with.

Surprisingly, the brilliant photographer didn’t actually major in Photography. She joined a photography club in university, where she discovered her intense passion for the art and decided to pursue it as her career. After graduating from university, she worked under the famous photographer KIM Jung-man as his assistant before opening her own studio and starting to work on independent projects. Since then, she has been working with top celebrities and taking mostly portrait photographs for movie posters and ads for the past 20 years.

To avoid being stereotyped against for not having specialized in the field in her university years, ZO Sun-hi devoted more time and effort than any other in order to continually upgrade herself and raise the quality of her works. She feels intense euphoria every time she presses the shutter-release button, and says that she’d like to take photographs as long as she lives.

Often called the Prince of Asia, actor Jang Geun Suk is busy preparing for a new album and an Asian tour.
A representative of his agency revealed to OBS on March 19, “He is currently in the middle of preparations for an album coming out in the summer and an Asian tour held in eight cities starting from May.”
“The album will be sold in Asia with the exception of Korea,” the source continued to reveal details on the actor’s future promotions.
Jang Geun Suk is known for his sold out shows and fan meetings, and the upcoming Asian tour can already be expected to be a success. In 2011, he made his Japanese debut as a singer with the single “Let Me Cry,” and released his first studio album “Just Crazy” in 2012. Last year, he released his second full-length release “Nature Boy,” which rose to the top of Oricon Daily Chart. Korean actor, singer and philanthropist Jang Geun Suk has finally completed his college education.

The 26-year-old actor, who starred in such Korean dramas as “You’re Beautiful” and “Beautiful Man,” graduated from Hanyang University in Seoul with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater and Cinema.

He took to Twitter to post photos of himself wearing a toga at the graduation ceremony.

The actor entered the university in 2006.

During the ceremony, Hanyang University bestowed a special award to Jang Geun Suk for his contributions to the school.

The hallyu star, known for his generosity and his philanthropic works, donated a total of 1.2 billion won (about P50 million) as scholarship fund to the university in the last eight years.

Jang Geun Suk also donated 100 million won (about P4.12 million) for the victims of Typhoon “Yolanda” in the Philippines last December, via the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), as a gesture of support for Filipino fans.

Jang Geun Suk held a fan meeting dubbed “Propose” in Seoul recently, which was attended by over 3,000 people.

Hello, readers of ‘STARCAST’. This is actor Jang Keun Suk. I finally graduated. It is in 8 years after entering the school in 2006. I would like to give applauses to myself to congratulate as I finished academics while fighting with the schedules for a long time. Clap, clap, clap.
The place I am standing right now is Hanyang University. This is my alma mater. On February 20th, Degree awarding ceremony of ‘Hanyang University Department of Physical Education•Art’ was held. I cancelled all my schedules and ran to school. I feel touched just with the fact that I am graduating but I even received a contribution award.
It was too sad to just leave only after finishing the graduation ceremony. So, we have looked around the places of memory with ‘Dispatch’. Ah, there are memories everywhere. Jang Keun Suk’s untold graduation story, we will reveal it right now~.

Are you guys saying it just looks like an ordinary square? It is a very special place for me. The truth is, the history of ‘Team H’ began right here. ‘Team H’ is a project band group that I formed. When I was 22 years old, the first performance of ‘Team H’ took place right here.
When I performed right here for the first time, there were almost no audiences. There were only about 10 friends from my department. Now I think about, it is embarrassing. Where did I get courage to sing like that? But, I was most happy back then. Now, I matured a lot as I even go on Asia Tour but, I still can’t forget about this memory.
Also, there is one behind story. ‘H’ from ‘Team H’ is the initial letter of ‘HANYANG’.

An actor Jang Keun Suk successfully ended the fan meeting that was held in Korea in 4 years.

Jang Keun Suk’s fan meeting ‘2014 Jang Keun Suk Propose’, which was held at Seoul Olympics Park Olympics Hall on February 8th, have completely mesmerized about 3,000 fans and it took place among the fanatic atmosphere the whole time.

Since it is the time with the fans that he spends together in 4 years in Korea, Jang Keun Suk have prepared this fan meeting himself and it was filled with stages that are comfortable as if on a travel and also with fun. Especially, in ‘Beginning 2014 with you’, he honestly shared his lifestyle and thoughts based on 12 keywords such as style, time and movie and so on and have interacted closely with the fans.

In addition, Jang Keun Suk presented the music talk, which combined talk and song, and not only the fans from Korea, but he also went beyond Asia and put fans from all over the world such as Turkey, Israel and France and so on into a storm of excitement. Including ‘Love Letter’ that he wrote the song and composed the lyrics, he passionately sang ‘Like A Movie’, ‘Save Me’, a song to cheer for fans who are having hard times, and ‘Turn off’ and so on and presented a touching moment to the fans.

Out of all, he made a sweet propose to the fans through an encore stage and have made the audiences go fanatic. Jang Keun Suk was up on the stage again saying a phrase “Will you marry me?!” while wearing a white tuxedo and he replied to the cheers from the fans by passionately singing a propose song. When the heat did not go down even with an encore stage, he showed on the stage again without hesitation and showed love for the fans that does not know how to get exhausted for 2 hours and a half.

In addition, a group JYJ member Kim Jae Joong, who has a friendship that is to a different level with Jang Keun Suk, showed up in surprise on the stage and gave a song as a present. To this, Jang Keun Suk showed off cooking skills while wearing cute aprons and has added friendliness by serving delicious foods.

After finishing the fan meeting, Jang Keun Suk said “I have to spend times in this way often but I felt so sorry that I could not afford to do that. I was able to feel once again that I am really getting lots of love from the fans through today’s precious meeting and got lots of energy. I am really grateful. Since fans always have faith in me and supports me, I will make a choice and behave responsibly and I will keep going forth by putting the most efforts from now on to the future” and shared his feelings that are overwhelming with joy.

The fans that have attended the fan meeting said “It was a moment when we realized how much Jang Keun Suk values and loves the fans. We were happy as we were able to spend time together close by him”, “Thank you so much always for knowing what is on our minds” and “I was really touched by a propose. Let’s keep going forth along with the eels” and so on and have showed gratitude.

[10asia]Park Shin-hye Joins Jang Keun-suk as Face of Chinese Drink

Fans of 2009 hit drama “You’re Beautiful” will be happy to know that its main stars Park Shin-hye and Jang Keun-suk will come together to endorse a Chinese beverage brand.

The two’s agencies announced through separate press releases on Wednesday that Park will join Jang in endorsing drinks manufactured by Tong Yi, one of China’s biggest and most influential food companies.

A press release by Park’s agency S.A.L.T Entertainment stated that their actress newly signed with Tong Yi while Jang’s contract with the brand was extended into its third year.

Jang’s promoter YTREE MEDIA said their TV commercial is in planning and that they will take on promotional activities in China starting in May.

An official with Tong Yi was quoted as saying, “Our beautiful cooperation with two of the most popular Korean artists in Asia will help us solidify our brand image as one that represents youths.

Park and Jang shot to stardom throughout Asia through “You’re Beautiful” and have been popular in the region ever since so therefore are set to continue with their individual activities overseas as well as at home this year.

Park is set to start shooting her period-set film “King’s Costume-making Office” (translated title) this month.
