Hallyu artist Jang Keun Suk, who is active in various areas such as actor, singer and model has produced his original brand “Zikzin”, and the cafe “ZIKZIN CAFE&DINING” was open in Shibuya, Tokyo on March 14th. Just for your information, “Zikzin” means going forward/ straight in Korean. It represents his thought to tackle everything with zikzin mind.

The cafe is on the 2nd floor of Zikzin building. On the 1st floor, there is “Collecte De ZIKZIN”. And on the 3rd floor, there is “ZIKZIN NAIL SHOP”. That means the whole building is produced by him. What kind of shops they are? Let’s explore them!

1st floor: Collecte De ZIKZIN
Entering the entrance, a stylish space awaits you.



In the shop, various items are sold. For example, collaborative items with Italian brand “L’inoui”, JKS selected favorite items and Zikzin original items like T-shirt and hoodie. And the items JKS wore in his concerts are also displayed, which helps to make JKS world.



It is the hat JKS really wore in concerts. And the JKS figured doll is now only for display, but they’re planning to sell it in the future



This is the boots he wore, too. It must be coveted by his fans.. 



They are collaborative items with Italian brand “L’inoui”. Passport case, wallet and clutch in various colors.



They are eau du toilette and aromatic candles of diptyque.



They are shampoos of Chamenne. All items are his favorites and selected by him directly.

2nd floor: ZIKZIN CAFE&DINING
”ZIKZIN CAFE&DINING” also has a stylish and composed atmosphere.




The atmosphere of ”ZIKZIN CAFE&DINING” seems for mature adults. The beam in a ceiling is created in the style of arrow which represents “ZIKZIN”. Not only for ordinary lunch time (from 11:00 to 15:00), they also serve lunch menu from 15:00 to 17:00. It’s convenient for working women.

Besides, you can see various ingenuities in the cafe. For example, patterns of the ceiling and floor looks like arrow which represents the concept of “ZIKZIN”. In addition, there are JKS’ handwritten messages on the floor. And photos taken by him and his favorite books are displayed.

This shelf has a very impressive straight-line shape. His favorite items and books are displayed there.

For his fans, this cafe is so full of treasures that they can enjoy the cafe to details like a treasure hunting. Even not his fans can enjoy the atmosphere. Then, How about their foods and drinks?

“ZIKZIN CAFE&DINING” serves lunch and cafe menu during the daytime, and at night they serve a la carte menu like tapas, pasta, burger. So you can enjoy the cafe anytime. They offer a very unique menu blended with different food cultures such as Korean and Italian. For example, they add Korean original ingredient like Topokki and Gouchujang to standard menu like pasta and hamburger.




“Zikzin burger (1,100 yen)” using a chicken thigh meat with salty-sweet sauce like Dak Galbi is highly recommended. The price is 1,100 yen, but during late lunch hour (from 15:00 to 17:00), you can add a drink paying extra 300 yen.

Another recommended menu, “Salad Bibimbap (1,200 yen)”. On five main cereals (rice, wheat, foxtail millet, Japanese millet, and millet), there is Namul, fresh and steamed vegetable with crisp raw ham. You can enjoy three difference in texture; crunchy texture of fresh vegetable, moist texture of Namul and steamed vegetable, and crispy texture of raw ham. You can’t forget the texture once you give it a try.

Not only food menu, desserts include Korean taste.

This is “Fruit brulee and shaved ice (800 yen)” given a hint from Korean shaved ice “Patbingsu”. On the shaved ice, there is mango and custard.

This is “Hotok fried pancake (850 yen)” given a hint from Korean hotcake, Hotok.

This is “Pomegranate lemonade (700 yen)”. There are various drink menu like this used pomegranate which is commonly used in Korean drink menu.

This is “Mango Berry Apple (800 yen)” cocktail using Makkori (Korean alcoholic beverage). Like this, there are various drink menu based on Makkori.

All menu were selected among many trial menu by Zikzin brand staff including Jang Keun Suk himself. They look very delicious, which makes us eat all.

Regardless of his fans, the cafe is worth visiting and trying the menu. I’m sure it will get attention from now on!

Actors and singer Jang Geun Suk's project group Team-H will be delighting the fans in Korea after its long absence due to extended concert tours abroad.

Team-H, which is a duo that consists of Jang Geun Suk and his music partner Big Brother, has been on international tour since January. Starting from Hiroshima, Japan, Team-H has gone across four Japanese cities, Shanghai, Thailand and Taiwan, firing up the fans in each of their successful concerts, '2013 Team H Party - I Just Wanna Have Fun.'

Riding the popular wave, Team-H has decided to hold additional concerts in Korea and Japan as well as in the United States. The next upcoming concert in Korea will take place in Injae, Korea on May 26.


The concert venue, Injae Auto Theme Park, features various cultural and automobile displays. Welcoming the return of Jang Geun Suk and Big Brother, the fans are in high anticipation for their first concert in Korea this year. Jang Geun Suk's last performance on stage in Korea was at Ultra Music Festival 2012 about a year ago.

On May 29, Nature Boy, Jang Geun Suk's second regular album in Japan will be released.

Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk after releaed full length Korean album ‘I just wanna have fun’ early this year, where he attempted sing in Chinese in the song ‘Feel the Beat’, He sang in Chinese again, working with Tongyi Group (based in Taiwan) for an its brand orange juice CF released a brand new single song ‘ICU’. When Jang Keun Suk first attempted singing in Chinese for Team H album cover song “Feel The Beat”, when the album was released it got very warm support by Chinese fans. Immediately, this song became No.1 on various big music charts, it was also recognition of Jang Keun Suk singing in Chinese. Therefore, it gave him a lot of confidence in releasing ICU which is completely in Chinese.

In 2011, actor Jang Keun Suk’s status had an eye-catching change, with You’re Beautiful, Mary Stayed All Night Out etc popular dramas, Jang Keun Suk’s pretty Boy style swept through whole Asia. In early 2013, Jang Keun Suk’s agent in Grand China region, HS Media & Ocean Butterfly Music united to work together in releasing brand new full length album ‘I Just Wanna Have Fun’, caused a stir in Asia music, officially reaching out to whole of Asia! In the Chinese version, he first time sang a gong in Chinese and already won over many fans. In order to produce a perfect Chinese single, HS Media specially invited Ocean Butterfly Music famous Song Writer Yvonne Lin to write the lyrics. this song was Lin’s another great work after she did two famous songs for singer JJ Lin. Ocean Butterfly Music Taiwan lead music producer Lin Zhi Sen ‘Dr Moon’ specially flew to Korea to join the production of this song. ICU describes a couple who met romantically & liked each other hoping to share a beautiful life and stay happily together. Jang Keun Suk who has been continuously learning Chinese said ‘although the last time I sang Chinese I have received lots of media & fans’ encouragements, but this time I’m a bit worried for singing in large number of Chinese words. Before entering the recording studio, Jang Keun Suk kept practicing hard. Famous producer Dr Moon said honestly: ‘previously, I was worried if Jang Keun Suk can sing so many Chinese words, I have listened to his “Feel The Beat” song. ICU has large number of Chinese words, it is very hard for Jang Keun Suk, but he is a very serious & hardworking singer. He went to the recording studio very early by himself, practiced Chinese lyrics on his own, sometimes we felt he is already very good with some of the pronunciation, but he insisted on trying to sing more times. Surprisingly his has great natural talent in Chinese, recording of the whole song went smoothly, completed successfully in only 5 hours.

As an Actor and also a singer, Jang Keun Suk hopes that this song ICU is not just for MV, but specially attempted mini movie concept, partnered with Korean popular actress Park Min Young performed a romantic encounter. Recently, the single ICU song & mini movie part I were released simultaneously, beautiful picture, caused people to imagine, as soon as it was released, it has earned lots of marvel from fans. In the first part of the movie which was released, Jang Keun Suk’s handsome, fashionable, romantic image was amazed by viewers. From a delivery staff to a singer full of charisma on stage, Jang Keun Suk’s different images caused everyone’s unlimited imagination. And Jang Keun Suk was also looking forward to working with Park Min Young on this movie.
