Jang Keun Suk recently finished his Asian tour, the 2012 Jang Keun Suk Asian Tour: The Cri Show 2, making stops in nine cities for a total of 16 concerts.
Starting in Seoul in July this year, Jang went to Yokohama (Japan), Shanghai (China), Taipei (Taiwan), Osaka (Japan), Nagoya (Japan), Fukuoka (Japan), Shenzhen (China), and Saitama (Japan), where he held the last concert on November 29. He held each concert for over two and a half hours every time and attracted a total audience of 163,000.
“Crazy Crazy Crazy,” the lead track of his first Japanese album, Just Crazy, topped the Oricon Daily and Weekly Charts.
What’s really surprising about Jang’s Asian tour is that he satisfied the audience with over 19 songs, performances, and his witty yet honest stories for about three hours.
Jang has produced his own concerts since 2010, and The Cri Show has become a concert brand. He has challenged many things as a producer, an actor, and a singer, and he has succeeded in all.
Jang says, “I really want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me for half a year. I’m sad to end my Asian tour now, but this is going to be another start. I love the word ‘Challenge.’ I can fail or succeed, but I’m going to challenge and show my passion until I die. Please give me your interest and support.”
