‘Pretty Boy’ Jang Keun Suk has ‘Pretty Heart’ and Donates to the Philippines

Turns out Jang Keun Suk, currently acting in the drama Pretty Boy doesn′t just have a pretty face, but a pretty heart as well.

The actor’s agency reported on December 2 that Jang Keun Suk donated 100,000,000 KRW (~94000 USD) to UNICEF in order to help out those suffering in Philippines.

“In order to give back to fans who shower him with love and support, Jang Keun Suk has decided to make donations to those suffering from aftermath of typhoon in Philippines,” reported the agency rep.

This is not the first time the actor has done good deeds.Jang Keun Suk has been taking lead in sharing his wealth with those in need by donating to various organizations, such as World Vision, orphanages in Korea and nursing homes for the handicapped.

Jang Geun Suk donates ₱4M to ‘Yolanda’ relief drive

Hallyu actor and singer Jang Geun Suk has donated 100 million won (P4.12 million) to help survivors of super typhoon “Yolanda” in the Philippines.

Jang Geun Suk, who currently stars in the Korean drama “Beautiful Man,” gave his donation to UNICEF.

His agency, Tree J Company, said Jang Geun Suk made the donation as his appreciation for the fans all over the world who have given him love and support.

As of Dec. 2, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said 5,670 people were reported dead; 26,233 were injured; and 1,761 are missing in the aftermath of Typhoon “Yolanda.”

It said the cost of damage caused by the typhoon is now at P34.36 billion.

The star is known for his charity activities. He has donated to organizations such as World Vision.

Last month, his fans from different countries such as Taiwan, Japan, China, Malaysia and Argentina donated 16.66 tons of rice and other products when the actor held his press conference for “Beautiful Man.”

The items will be donated by the actor to those who are in need.

“Beautiful Man” started airing last Nov. 20. Jang Geun Suk plays the lead role of Dokgo Ma-Te, an ambitious man set to seduce 10 women in Korea. His co-stars are singer IU, Lee Jang Woo and Han Chae-young.

Jang Geun Suk shared how impressed he was by the acting skills of his 'Pretty Man' co-star IU.

Jang Geun Suk recalled his fanboy moment when he first met IU on set as he shared, "When I met IU for the first time at the poster shoot and she hugged me as Kim Bo Tong, I screamed loud enough so the whole set could hear. Wow! IU hugged me!"

"This is my first time acting with actresses around IU's age. The amazing thing is that if I look at IU, I am drawn to her charms. She looks like she was even born [to act] or practiced till death."

When asked to tell viewers why they should watch 'Pretty Man' in the voice of his character Dok Go Ma Te, he jokingly replied, "Because I'm on it... 'Pretty Man' has both fun moments and romance but it will be a drama which helps you to reflect on yourself. If it becomes a valuable time of reflection for viewers as they watch Dok Go Ma Te's wisdom gained through meeting 10 women, I will be more than happy."

'Pretty Man' premiered on Wednesday at 10 PM KST.

KBS 2TV new Wed/Thur drama 'Pretty Boy' Jang Keun-suk began his expedition to become 'King of MG'.

In 'Pretty Boy' episode 2 aired on 21, Dog Ko-mate's(Jang Keun-suk) final goal was unveiled. Mysterious women Hong Yoo-ra(Han Chae-young) confess that he is MG group Park Gi-suk president's son.

Hong Yoo-ra was form financial clique. But as soon as she gave birth, her mother-in-law Na Hong-ran(Kim Bo-yeon) kicked her out. Hence, Hong Yoo-ra suggested alliance with Dok Go-mate and said "Let's get back our place" and said "We have to defeat the monster called Na Hong-ran. We need tactics and information to become powerful king."

 The first step was to conquer Jack-hee(So Eu-jene) who is a legend in real estate business. She started out with ten million won and now became billionaire. His quest is to learn what money really is. Mate with outstanding skills to captivate women's heart will be alluring her to earn her know hows.

Dok Go-mate began his real expedition. 'Pretty Boy' is raising curiosities regarding his future quests he has to conquer.

Also, Kim Bo-tong(IU)'s abnormal yet cute love for Mate will be increasing the fun. She, who thinks looking at his face is more priceless than her life will show never ending crush.

 Kim Bo-tong even goes to the police station for selling socks on the streets, which was Mate's mission. She tries her best to give financial aid for him. She gave out her weird cherished things for sale in the flee market. She also dares to become a stocker and trespass Mate's house. She not only sense his body order through his shirts but also brush her tooth with his.

 Meanwhile, 'Pretty Boy' episode 3 about Dok Go-mate's success story will be aired on 27th 10PM.
